Sheriff Joe Guy (email@example.com)
Sheriff Guy holds a BS degree in Management from Covenant College, is a graduate of the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy, and is a Licensed EMT. In 2012 he completed the University of Tennessee CTAS Certified County Officials Program, and was only the 4th Tennessee Sheriff to do so.
Sheriff Guy has over a 20-year career in law enforcement, emergency services, and county government. He was a patrol officer with the Englewood and Etowah Police Departments, and as a deputy sheriff in McMinn County rose through the ranks of patrol to patrol supervisor, tactical team commander, and SRO supervisor.
Sheriff Guy is heavily involved in civic affairs. He is a member of state and local professional organizations, numerous local civic organizations as well as their boards of directors. He believes a Sheriff should be seen, should be working, and should be available to the public he serves. When people look for a leader, they look to Sheriff Guy.
He is married and the father of 3 sons. He is also the author of several books on regional law enforcement and history, and is a noted public speaker.
Matt Blair, Chief Deputy Sheriff (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Chief Blair is a graduate of the 250th Session of the FBI National Academy, Cleveland State Community College Law Enforcement Academy and the Tennessee Highway Patrol Academy. Chief Blair is a 20-year veteran and decorate law enforcement officer with McMinn County and the Tennessee Highway Patrol. The Chief oversees all general operations of the MCSO, and is the Sheriff's 2nd in Command.
Chief Blair sets the example in high department standards and works hard to present the image of a professional law enforcement officer.
He is married and the father of 2 sons, is deeply involved with local youth sports, and is an avid hunter and sportsman.
Lt. Eric Allman, Criminal Investigation Division (email@example.com)
Lt. Allman is a graduate of Cleveland State Community College Law Enforcement Academy. He is a veteran police officer and investigator, having served with the Etowah and Cleveland Police Departments and as an agent with the 10th Judicial Drug Task Force. Lt. Allman directs all investigative operations, and is the legal and professional advisor to the Sheriff and Chief.
Lt. Allman stresses ethic and morals in all aspects of life, both private and professional.
He is married and the father of a daughter and son, active in his church, and enjoys providing community programs for youth and senior citizens. He is also an experienced practitioner of martial arts.
Lt. Toby Parsons, Jail Administrator, Corrections Division (firstname.lastname@example.org)
A graduate of the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy, Lt. Parsons has worked with the Sheriff's Office since 1997, serving in numerous capacities from corrections, corrections supervisor, patrol officer, and patrol supervisor. Lt. Parsons oversees all jail operations and programs, assists in directing inmate labor for community needs and projects, and provides advisement in corrections and related activities to the Sheriff and Chief.
Lt. Parsons draws on almost 20 years of service to McMinn County, and sets the bar in professional jail management. He is a certified Tazer and Freeze+P instructor. He holds a Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and is currently pursuing a BS in Behavioral Science at Tennessee Wesleyan College.
He is married and the father of 1 son, and resides with his family in Athens.
